U.S. Bank

The Assignment: Develop a national corporate campaign to get U.S. Bank on the radar screen among leaders of the investment community and be considered a viable competitive option. The business community, including those outside of U.S. Bank’s footprint, has probably heard of U.S. Bank but most just don’t know a lot about the bank. Their confidence in financial institutions is being tested and they would welcome a bank that’s on solid ground like U.S. Bank.

Outback Steakhouse

Aussie Oke
The traditional market for Outback is men in their 40s and 50s, however we identified a need to reach out to younger consumers and begin building a relationship with the brand. Aussie-Oke was developed to generate awareness of Outback Steakhouse among these young consumers and to position the restaurant as the type of place that doesn't take itself too seriously thereby making it more accessible to a younger audience.

Herbal Essences Rebranding

Herbal Essences experienced its heyday in the '70s, capturing the loyalty of real and would-be flower children with its positioning as a botanically based, highly aromatic "Garden of Earthly Delights" experience. By the '90s, the brand had wilted in the face of competition from all sides, including natural and organic hair-care products from major consumer marketers and boutique brands like the Body Shop.

In 2001, Herbal relaunched their product line with a new product formula and updated packaging. In print and TV we gave the brand a bolder look that speaks to the "spontaneous, optimistic, altruistic, experiential" new female generation.
